Bunny News

No, it’s not a new epidemic to be scared of. Rabbit Fever is a quirky documentary by amateur director Amy Do. Rabbit Fever follows a series of bunny loving competitor who all compete at the ARBA National Rabbit Convention to have their bunny honoured as number one.

While dog shows and even cat shows are nothing new, rabbit competitions are certainly not the norm. Nevertheless, the ARBA rabbit show draws a crowd of more than 20,000 bunnies plus owners.

Typically adult members compete for the ‘Best in Show’ award while teenage bunny owners compete for the titles of ‘Rabbit King’ and ‘Rabbit Queen’.

It’s by no means an ordinary pet show, but perhaps that’s what drew Amy Do to it. Neither is Rabbit Fever an ordinary documentary, the insightful film has received coverage from numerous media outlets including USA Today and Eye for Film.

There are many that think that pet insurance for rabbits is an unusual idea. Just wait till they hear about the ARBA National Rabbit Convention! Truly the world of bunnies and more importantly their owners has gone hopping mad!
